and attractive for international markets, to increase the capacity of the
plant on manufacture NPK of fertilizers, to expand the variety of
fertilizers (types of NPK fertilizers) that may be produced.

|
|
Pre-investment stage. Two offers
from the Czech and Belgian companies were received; the main equipment list
is defined. Now the substantiation of investment in building and the business
plan is being developed.

the project
|
|
By the specialists of
the factory the retour method of manufacture is chosen under the scheme
ammonizator-granulator – drying drum (neutralization of phosphoric and
sulfuric acids by ammonia in the tubular reactor, addition of carbamide in
ammonizator-granulator and potassium chloride in a stream of retour with the
subsequent: drying in drying drum, cooling, classification and shipment of
ready— made product).

À5. Preconditions / history / the general program / related or similar projects
|
|
JSC «Gomel Chemical Plant»
belongs to the chemical industry and is a part of Belarus State Concern of
Oil and Chemistry and also is the exclusive manufacturer of phosphoric
mineral fertilizers in Belarus.
The enterprise manufactures: sulfuric
acid, phosphoric acid, mineral fertilizers, fluoric salts, sodium sulphite
and chemical products.
JSC «Gomel Chemical Plant»
manufactures more than 20 kinds of products. At the moment the plant produces
complex nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium fertilizers of grades 5:16:35;
16:16:16; 10:20:20, 16:12:20 etc. for soils of various level of fertility and
various agricultural crops.
In 2006 JSC «Gomel Chemical
Plant» introduced and certified the system of quality management of
elaboration and manufacture of sodium sulphite waterless and mineral
fertilizers according to the requirements STB ISO 9001 (the certificate ¹
BY/112 05.01.006 0665 dtd 3/23/2006). In 2008 the system of a quality
management of manufacture of NPK complex fertilizers has been certificated
according to the requirements of international standard ISO 9001 (the
certificate ¹UA225880 dtd 11/28/2008). In 2008 JSC «Gomel Chemical Plant»
also introduced and certified the system of management of a labor safety
according to the requirements of standard OHSAS 18001 and a control system of
environment according to the requirements of standard ISO 14001 (certificates
¹UA 225882UA and ¹UA225881 dtd 11/28/2008 accordingly).

description of influence on the environment
|
|
The usage of progressive
technologies at designing and building of a new unit will allow: specific
emissions of inorganic dust, gaseous combinations of fluorine and ammonia to
keep at level of specific emissions of working unit of ammoniated
superphosphate (0,055 kg / t. n., 0,035 kg / t. n., 0,049 kg / t. n. accordingly);
To lower specific emissions CO
and NO2 for 15 %.

|
|
JSC «Gomel Chemical Plant» has steady financial
position,
that is steady enough, and a good credit history.
The most essential risk that influences realization of the project – is a degree of loading of capacities
in conditions of dependence
on import of the basic raw materials, increase of price for the basic raw materials ( apathite concentrate, sulphur)
and fuel and energy resources.
